Structure

Display a OLED is composed from several overlapping layers: on a first transparent layer, that it has protecting functions, it comes placed a transparent conductive layer that acts as from anode; subsequently they come added 3 organic layers: one for the injection of gaps, one for the electron transport , and, between of they, the three red, green and blue materials elettroluminescenti (), arranged to form an only layer composed from many elements, everyone of the which format from the three microdisplay colors to you. Finally, it comes placed a reflecting layer that acts as from cathode.
In spite of the variety of layers, the thickness total, without to consider the transparent layer, is of approximately 300 nanometers.
